The Red Cross
preparing to respond/ prevention of disease transmission
check call care
Deadly Bleeds
WorkSafeBC and OHS paperwork
Airway emergencies, breathing emergencies, circulations emergencies, sudden medical emergencies, AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
Written knowledge evaluation.
Standards for Successful Completion:
Students must successfully recognize and respond to the emergencies as identified in the course content as evaluated by the instructor and correctly answer 70% of the questions in the knowledge evaluation. This formative written examination is a requirement of WorkSafeBC.
Certification:
Certification is valid for three years from the date of successful completion of this course
Instructor to Student Ratio:
1 to 18 maximum
Cost: $120.00 (8 hr class)
